This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned Quality Manager with over 10 years of experience in quality management. Role Overview

As a Quality Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all quality management processes adhere to the highest standards. Specifically, you will develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS). Additionally, you will oversee compliance with QMS IECEx and ATTEX standards. Consequently, you will ensure that safety and quality requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement QMS: Your primary task will be to create and maintain QMS processes. This involves integrating quality procedures into daily operations, thereby ensuring ongoing compliance with international standards.
• Ensure QMS IECEx Compliance: You will regularly monitor and update QMS IECEx standards. By doing so, you will ensure that all systems meet the specific safety and quality requirements for explosive atmospheres.
• Adhere to ATTEX Standards: Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with ATTEX standards will be a key responsibility. Furthermore, you will implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies found during these audits.
• Manage Fabrication Quality Control: Overseeing quality assurance processes related to fabrication is essential. This includes inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance quality performance and reduce defects. Implementing best practices and innovative solutions will be crucial to improving overall operational efficiency.
• Provide Leadership and Support: Offer guidance and support to the quality assurance team. By fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development, you will help drive the team’s success.
• Conduct Compliance Audits: Regular internal audits and preparation for external audits will be part of your duties. These actions are necessary to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience Required: You should have at least 10 years of experience in quality management. Additionally, a robust background in QMS, QMS IECEx, ATTEX standards, and fabrication processes is essential.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma or ISO are highly desirable.
• Skills and Expertise:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QMS principles and practices.
  • Expertise in QMS IECEx and ATTEX standards.
  • Proficiency in fabrication processes and quality control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and manage complex quality assurance projects.
