AV Design Consultant

Position Overview: We are hiring for a client in Dubai seeking a skilled AV/ICT Consultant to lead AV/ICT design and consultancy services. This role is ideal for professionals with recent experience in consultancy firms, specializing in ELV systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing AV/ICT projects, ensuring high-quality designs, and overseeing installations that meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and consultancy for AV/ICT projects within ELV systems.
• Utilize expertise in Audio/Visual equipment from manufacturers such as Christie, Cisco Tandberg, Extron, and Biamp.
• Integrate video wall systems from manufacturers like Barco, RGB Spectrum, and Planar.
• Implement digital signage solutions using Cisco, Scala, NEC, and Samsung equipment.
• Prepare detailed consultancy reports and manage design stage deliverables.
• Collaborate with construction teams, understanding and interpreting construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain proficiency in PC office tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Exhibit professionalism, diplomacy, and flexibility in all client interactions.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate multiple installation teams to meet deadlines.
• Display familiarity with AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience, particularly in audio/visual design and consultancy.
• Recent experience with a consultancy firm is essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Autodesk REVIT 2014 is a plus.
• CTS certification is required.
