Job Purpose:
As a Facility Manager, your role is to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, creating a safe and efficient working environment for all employees. You will implement best practices to manage resources, services, and processes that align with the company’s needs and objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management program, including preventive maintenance and lifecycle requirements.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and document findings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
  • Allocate and manage facility space to maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate intra-office moves and supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations.
  • Implement best practice processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and monitor contract suppliers’ activities.
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure all facility management needs are met.
  • Plan and monitor facility management staffing levels for optimal efficiency.
  • Manage, develop, and train facility maintenance staff.
  • Prepare and track facility budgets, monitor expenses, and payments.
  • Generate and present regular reports on facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures promptly.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • 10-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering, or related fields like Project Management, Business Management, or Construction Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management, business administration, financial principles, electrical and mechanical systems, procurement, and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, and all aspects of facility operations.
  • Proficient in computer systems and facility management software.
