HSE Engineer

We are hiring for one of our clients who is looking for a skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing the client’s OSH management system, reviewing contractor plans and procedures, and monitoring contractor performance in OHS aspects.

Job Summary:
The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing the client’s OSH management system, reviewing contractor’s plans and procedures, and monitoring contractor performance in OHS aspects.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
– Implementing the Client’s OSH management system and OSHAD-SF.
– Reviewing contractor OSH plans, procedures, and records.
– Conducting weekly joint inspections, monthly management walks, and meetings.
– Reviewing project emergency arrangements and ensuring the implementation of drills & campaigns.
– Preparing monthly OSH statistic reports, OSH audit reports, fire audit and campaign reports, and submitting them to the client.
– Investigating OSH incidents along with the committee and reporting to the client.
– Reviewing contractor performance and ensuring OSH compliance.

Qualification / Skill Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering.
– NEBOSH International Diploma or Equivalent and OSHAD Registration.
– ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Certification.
– A minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience in the UAE.
– Previous approval as HSE-Engineer is preferable.
