Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Purchase Requests (PR) efficiently, preparing and reviewing procurement documents, and ensuring timely issuance of Purchase Orders (PO). Key duties include maintaining vendor registrations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and resolving logistics issues to ensure smooth delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Requests (PR) and prepare Purchase Orders (PO) promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor registrations and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure timely availability of required materials and services.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve logistics issues and ensure smooth delivery of purchased goods.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and establish relevant contractual terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) according to organizational requirements; identify potential invitees, receive proposals, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Review, compare, and analyze different proposals, including terms and conditions, and ensure the organization’s best interests are met.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in office administration.
  • Knowledge of document control procedures.
  • Ability to maintain organized records of documents, both in soft and hard copies.
  • Understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
