Senior Service Desk Engineer Job in Chennai & Hyderabad (15 Openings)
We are hiring for one of our clients in the retail industry for the position of Senior Service Desk Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in Chennai (10 positions) and Hyderabad (5 positions). Join a dynamic IT team providing 24×7 support with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Location: Chennai (10 Positions) & Hyderabad (5 Positions)
Designation: Senior Service Desk Engineer (Onboarding/Offboarding Support)
Years of Experience: 2-5 years
Benefits: Cab services provided for both shifts (within 20 km of HCL premises)
Mode of Working: Work from Office
Shift: 5 days a week, 24×7 rotational shifts with rotational week-offs
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills as you will interact with senior-level end users.
- High-level expertise in a variety of systems and applications, including:
- Active Directory (AD)
- Exchange Management Console
- Office 365 (O365)
- WebEx, Okta, Oracle, Avaya, Google Workspace, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24x7x365 support with fast turnaround on all onboarding processes.
- Handle offboarding and termination processes while adhering to audit requirements.
- Ensure documentation is secure and only accessible to authorized team members.
- Maintain quality control for high accuracy and compliance.
- Streamline and improve the onboarding/offboarding process.
- Coordinate with IT teams for device orders, distribution, and collection.
- Ensure user profiles and devices are properly authenticated on the network.
- Provide monthly reports on standard metrics and performance.
