Position Overview

We are hiring for our client in Dubai, UAE, for a passionate and dedicated Violin Teacher. This full-time on-site role is ideal for those who love music and have a strong desire to share their expertise with students of all ages and skill levels. As a Violin Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the musical journeys of your students by providing comprehensive violin lessons and fostering a deep appreciation for music.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Violin Lessons: Provide individual and group violin lessons tailored to the skill level and goals of each student. Ensure lessons are engaging, informative, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Teach Music Theory: Integrate music theory into violin lessons to help students understand the fundamentals of music. Explain concepts like rhythm, scales, and harmony in a way that complements their practical violin skills.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess and track students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly. Prepare students for performances, exams, and recitals.
• Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement a structured curriculum that covers various aspects of violin playing, from basic techniques to advanced performance skills. Ensure lessons are aligned with the students’ goals and abilities.
• Foster a Love for Music: Encourage a positive and supportive learning environment that nurtures a love for music. Inspire students to explore their creativity and express themselves through violin playing.
• Performance Preparation: Guide students in preparing for solo and ensemble performances, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared to showcase their skills.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and offering guidance on how they can support their musical development at home.

Qualifications

• Music Performance & Theory Skills: Strong proficiency in violin playing and a deep understanding of music theory.
• Teaching Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching violin, preferably to a diverse range of students.
• Music Education: Experience in providing music education, with a focus on creating a positive and effective learning environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and parents.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field. Certifications in violin teaching or related areas are advantageous.
• Passion for Music: A genuine passion for music and teaching, with the ability to inspire students to achieve their musical goals.
