Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Accountant for one of our clients who will play a crucial role in supporting the financial team by managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and providing comprehensive reporting. The ideal candidate should possess a solid grasp of accounting principles, experience with holding companies, and proficiency in handling numerical data.
Key Responsibilities:
– Record business transactions by posting and processing journal entries.
– Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
– Handle accounts payable, including reconciliation and payment processing.
– Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents following legal and company standards.
– Review and verify expenses and invoices.
– Maintain accurate financial data in databases to ensure timely and accurate access.
– Generate and submit weekly\/monthly financial reports, analyzing deviations from the budget.
– Support the preparation of documentation required for external audits.
– Participate in various accounting projects as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
– Demonstrated experience in an accounting role.
– Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Salesforce, QuickBooks, SAP).
– Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
– Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards.
